Roasted Coconut Kaffir & Pistachio Honey Ricotta

Aztec Chocolate & Caramel

We couldn’t decide on one flavor.  So, we went home with three.  All three were uniquely delicious in their own individual ways.  Richly layered with serious flavor, they demand (and deserve) your full attention.

The roasted coconut kaffir was littered with TONS of chunky pieces of roasted coconut.  If you love coconut, you’ll love this one.

Aztec Chocolate will remind you of the best frozen hot chocolate with a gentle kick that you’ve ever tasted.  Rich chocolate and just the right touch of spice, the flavor is divine.  The texture reminded us more of a sorbet than a gelato.  So, that was a little bit of a negative for us.  But, it’s the deep dark chocolate flavor touched with a whisper of heat that makes your throat tingle that will keep us coming back for more.

The sweetest and the creamiest of the bunch was the Pistachio Honey Ricotta.  This flavor hints and teases you with memories of a cannoli.  But, it’s something much more lovely.  It’s lighter and more delicate.  The flavors touch you gently with a background of honey that adds incredible depth to the nutty pistachio and the creamy ricotta.  This one is something really special.
