The Manhattan: Redolent of sweet, smoky caramel… a hint of burnt caramel and smokiness from the Rye. Rich, perfumy and smooth, this Manhattan is close to perfection… definitely one of the best Manhattans I’ve ever had the good fortune to taste. Everyone has been raving about the burgers, but, why hasn’t anyone been raving about this [...] The Setting: Entering through the doors, you are greeted by caricature covered walls. You may wander into the well-equipped bar and enjoy the perfect cocktail before moving on to the dining room. And, you might even find a tune to play on the bar’s jukebox. The Staff: Friendly, inviting and professional The Burger: We each sampled the burger. [...] Once again, The Counter exceeds expectations with perfectly crisp and golden brown sweet potato fries (even more perfect than previous visits… if that’s possible) and burgers nearing perfection. We’ve sampled quite a few burgers and they’ve proven to be impeccably prepared, cooked, and presented on every visit.
