At first bite, we weren’t sure about these. There’s a very powerful hit of dried (concentrated) cabbage. But, then, you take another bite. And, all of the other flavors start to appear. There’s a healthy kick of cayenne that is instantly mellowed by sweet paprika and a touch of red bell pepper. These flavors mingle with the garlic nicely. By the second chip, it’s all about the deep dark richness of toasty black sesame seeds. That’s when we started to love these chips. After a few chips, it’s all sweet heat and roasted sesame. That’s when we knew it. We found a new snack to love. That means they’ll probably be discontinued next week.

Good jalapeño flavor and a great crunch, these need no extra garnish or dip to spice them up. They’re a bit on the thick side. But, that just means they could be a chip or a cracker. We both really love these.
Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup & Dark Chocolate That peanut butter cup, it was too good. Another favorite? The chocolate lover’s mixed nuts. Equal parts of assorted nuts covered in a very thick layer of dark chocolate and roasted nuts, all of the nuts were delicious. But, the pecans were especially fresh, sweet and tender. Loved it!

It’s quite deceptive. That was one really big deep-fried chicken breast. But, size doesn’t matter. What does? It was cooked beautifully. Deep golden brown on the outside with a tender, juicy interior, we loved it. And, it was crispy to the last bite.

Crispy golden with a a great crunch and an incredible depth of flavor, these were even better than our memory of them. The sauce barely coated each crispy chicken piece allowing both sauce and chicken to shine.

Perfectly tender and amazingly buttery, each thick piece of catfish was a revelation. Without a doubt, this was one of the best catfish dishes we’ve ever had the good fortune to eat.

Moonies Texas Ribs Tender, smoky, and generously dusted with coarsely ground black pepper… these were absolutely divine. Again… They’re worth each and every second of that long drive to Flowery Branch. Just be sure they’re open first. When the meat is gone, so are they!
